THE ROLE
As the human resource specialist, you will be responsible for managing the administrative tasks related to a company's workforce. You will also ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and provide support to both employees and management.
Recruitment and Hiring: Developing job descriptions, posting job vacancies, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
Employee Onboarding: Orienting new employees to company policies and procedures, providing training, and managing the necessary paperwork.
Benefits Administration: Enrolling employees in benefit programs, managing changes to benefits, and answering employee questions related to benefits.
Performance Management: Developing and implementing performance management processes, conducting employee evaluations, and providing feedback to employees and managers.
Employee Relations: Resolving employee conflicts, conducting investigations into workplace issues, and providing support to employees.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Data Management: Maintaining accurate employee records, tracking attendance, and managing HR databases.
Training and Development: Identifying training needs, developing training programs, and facilitating employee training sessions.
Compensation Management: Administering compensation plans, conducting salary surveys, and ensuring pay equity.
HR Policy Development: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that support the company's goals and values.
Process and manage payroll for all full-time and hourly team members using Wise and Gusto.
